The Gap, Inc. is an American clothing and retail chain based in San Francisco. It was in 1969 by Don G. Fisher and Doris F. Fisher. Don Fisher said: “I Gap with a simple idea: to make it easier to find a pair of jeans. We remain committed to that basic .” The company has four besides Gap: Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta. The Gap brand includes GapKids, babyGap and gapbody. The company roughly 135,000 people in nearly 3,500 stores worldwide. The chain’s revenue is around $15 billion a year. It is the world’s second largest clothing retailer.
